Yes, I am working from family history notes, and also the online book you mention, Marianne. Esp. pages 108, 210, and perhaps other pages.
Lars will know about another person in that book, one Johan Peter. But I am having trouble knowing if Johan Peter and now this Jons Peter, as below, are the same person, or different persons. I think it will be resolved if their wive's identity can be confirmed. But now, about Jons Peter - at least, the info we think we have, which may not be all correct:
Jons Peter, f ev 29/6 1855 i Eldsberga. Jons ev: registering for America 24/4 1871? Föräldrar till Jons Peter var Johannes Nilsson Eldsberg Jonasson (Jonasson, Johan, Född 31/5 1828 / Johannes Johnson 1828-1904) och Helena Nilsdotter (ev 1827-1910). Johannes och Helena död i South Dakota, USA. Jons Peter död 1934? i South Dakota USA?
I am not certain about the info above. Did Johannes and Helena have a child with a name like Jons Peter? If so, did he emigrate to America? Marry?
