Hello Leif,
I know a Nils Nilsson born in Stafsinge 1743, dead 1809. He is an ancestor of my wife.
There is some question marks around the other information you are giving.
There is no Nils Nilsson dead in Stafsinge 30/5/1809, but the one I know is dead 13/5/1809. Could be a hearing failure. 13th and 30th sounds very the same in Swedish.
Next problem; the Nils Nilsson I know has no children born outside Stafsinge, Halland.
Now to my questions: How did find out Nils Nilsson is your ancestor? Are your line coming trough Anna or Mans? Can you give me more details, and I will try to help you.
