I'm sorry to say that it seems unlikely that Karl Teodor Gunnarsson from Biskopstorp (b. 1887, Nov 21) was your father. This man died in the neighboring Getinge parish in 1969, being a widower since 1927. Nothing indicates that he ever emigrated, although I can't rule that out completely.
Do you have any more information on his origins and/or place of death? His father was most likely named Gunnar, and this is quite unusual. However, the name Gunder was a very common Norwegian name in the 1800s. Is it possible that your fathers original name was Gundersson or Gundersen? He could still have been born in Sweden (or Norway), most likely with Norwegian ancestry.
