Sorry, Erik Svensson is dead since more than 20 years, I believe he died the same year his book was published. But I have a copy of it.I have however not been able to find anything about your relatives in the chapter about Skerkered. Anyhow this is not decisive. The book does not mention a lot of people living in the villages because it is focused on a certain social class, which disappeared from the Swedish society during the first half of the last century, namely crofters and cotters. Svensson did not write about the farmers of Breared or their households. The village of Skerkered is situated on the border between the parishes of Breared and Snöstorp, and, if I?m not mistaken, a certain part of Skerkered does belong to Snöstorp. So I believe you have better to study the church archieves. Johan Sjöberg
