Hello everyone
I am sorry that this is in English as I do not speak Swedish.
I am trying to find relatives in Sweden. My grandfather Herman Alfred Larsson ][Larson?] was born in or near Goteborg in around 1853/1854. I have found a record of the birth of a Herrman Alfred Larsson born in Fss on 9 November 1853. The parents were Lars Hansson and Eva Selina Andreasdr [Andreasdotter?].
My grandfather Herman left Goteborg to work as a seaman and eventually settled in Newport [Wales] where he met and married my grandmother Annie Pye. He died in 1916 in Newport.
Does anyone have any information which might show that the Herrman Larsson mentioned above is my grandfather?.
The family name was changed to Lawson after an error on my father's Army records.
