Birgitta och Heikki,
I had looked at N. Brinekebo in Gramnamala roten in Vissefjärda (Vissefjärda Husförhörslangd 1802-1809 v.AI:1, Gen #0139802). There appeared to be a household whose husband was Nicolaus Peterson, but he was born in 1788 and his wife was Lena Peterson.
I have good information after 1803 that Nicolaus Persson f. 1777, his wife Cajsa Petersd. f. 1783, and their children lived in Stekaremala (Vissefjärda Husförhörslangd v.AI:1, p.48). What is confusing, is that I cannot find the birth records for their children in Torsås, nor Vissefjärda. 1801-07 birth daughter, Ingeborg 1804-02 birth daughter, Lena Stina 1806-03 birth daughter, Christina 1807-12-30 birth daughter, Anna Maria
These clues I found in the birth records: 1802-03? Jaen Peterson and wife Märta I Stekaremala. Witnesses Niclas Peterson and wife Cajsa Petersdotter “i omebeck” 1802-08-02 (p. 850) Ingeborg born in N. Brin. to Niclas Persson and Cajsa 1805-02-27 (p.820 or p.806) stillborn daughter to Niclas Persson och his wife Cajsa Petersdt. I Stekarem.
Death: 1803-02-08 Peter Persson, but I cannot read the torp names. 1804-11-08 (p. 817) pig. Lena daughter of Nicolas Peters. I Kamabo (?)
