PS! It is my belief that in the time of the writing of that 1694 record, the wife was still alive - and that it is the wife she is referring to. It is rather common that a sickly person - depending on the status at the time of the record's writing - could jump in and out from the records. At this time the records were mainly kept keeping track of who and why they paid tax - not to have a role as a population register.
