Jag skriver för en tysk frågeställare om ovanstående Hermann Otto Joseph Lohse: Eftersom denne man nämns under denna rubrik och det eventuellt finns ett foto på honom här, fortsätter jag frågeställningen här för min tyske släktforskar bekant. Texten nedan har han skrivit själv på engelska och jag låter den stå som han skrivit den utan översättning, men med XXXXX för förnamn på hans barn, om dessa personer skulle råka leva fortfarande (jag har namnen!) man kan kontakta mig på mitt mail; stevepalmquist2004@yahoo.co.uk

I am looking for any information on the family and descendants of Hermann Otto Joseph Lohse.
I have a copy of his birth certificate. He was born on 5 April 1858 in Köln (Cologne), worked as a businessman first in Köln, then in Belgium and in Sweden.
For many years he worked in a big overseas trading company in Stockholm and died there before 1914. He was married to an English woman. They had 5 children, who still lived in Sweden in 1943.
The first child is XXXXXX (male!) Lohse. He also became a businessman, has married in Sweden and in 1943 has children.
The second child is XXXXXX (female)Lohse. She married a man with the name Widfund and in 1943 they also have children.
This is all I know about this family. The discussion is about my Hermann Otto Joseph Lohse and yes, he was catholic, which is a distinctive feature in a protestant country.
The christening of the 5 children can probably be found in the catholic parish.
