Orlynn has given some details in the posting Genline Translation-1128.3.96400 (http://forum.genealogi.se/index.php?topic=80214) and I have given an answer in that query that his Peter Skön was a grenadier in the Småland Grenadier Battalion. The time period is the 1830's. Hans
