Can someone tell me about the designation Kass[erad] under Beväring in the Husförhör records? I believe it means something like unqualified to be a soldier. What would bring about this classification? Is this a mental or physical designation? Is it related to schooling? skills?
I have two brothers who both have this designation from the age of 18 until they emigrate to America.
