Hi, Meryth! I found your soldier! His name was Johannes Junggren and lived in Skara Landsförsamling (don´t know the English word, but it was just in the naborhod of the city). The name of the farm was Västorp Svenningsgården. Johannes was born 1794 16/10 in Skövde, and his wife 1794 14/2. I also found four children, all born in this place: d. Britta Maria b.1824 in Mars s. Anders Petter b.1826 27/6 d. Stina b.1828 18/12 s. Gustaf b.1834 in Mars
I found this in Skara Lf AI:6 page 149 (AD Online pict. 81) and AI:7 (forgot to write down the pagenr. there).
