I am looking for the meaning or translation of these words. They may be german so I apologize ahead.
These are signs on a vehcle that looks like a small bus taken probably in the late 1800-early 1900's.  
Sign on the front says: Gartford
 
Sign on the top of bus says:
Odesoc-Crenna Brotjenark (in capital letters)
 
Could this be a place? and if so does anyone know where it could be?
