I have confirmed with the archives in Sweden and another helpful person of my family line back to Jön Olofsson b 16 Sept 1754 in Hagby, Kalmar län. This is great news for me!
Is anyone able to determine Jön's parents?
Thank you to all who have helped by go this far back in my family. I have ordered films here in the US, and now I know who to look for to get the official records!
