As a result of your information, I have subscribed to Genline, and have already found that Johan Magnus Hägg's wife Ullrika Larsdotter, b 1811, was the daughter of a soldier as well - Dragon Lars Fornson (or Tornson) I can't read the last name exactly. Anyway, I find the search very rewarding. I will look for Carl Alm as well. Looks like this family has really followed the Military. I, myself am retired from service in the US Army.
