Thanks, Christina. I had found the entries in the Husförhörslängder, but I could not make out the Skärgöl, Skärbäcks Nedergård. Pink Pool does not sound like an intimidating name for a military location, does it?
I have tried looking in the Ramkvilla Dödbok up to 1795 previously, but could not find Johan. However, what I was really trying to find was the birthplace of Johan. It seems to be mentioned in the description of Peters birth, above (the image is too wide and you have to scroll to see it) -- it could be Ramkvila, or it could be Rarb...
