I think Jörgen is correct that the father of John Alfred was probably Manne Julius. See what is said about John Alfred in the bouppetecking (estate inventory) of Manne Julius. (I mentioned trying to get that bouppteckning from the Landsarkiv (Regional Archive) in Göteborg in an earlier post.)
