I don't know if this is the best place to ask this question, but it kind of follows from the other questions. We've been looking through the house-hold examinations on the Genline.com site.
Are there plot maps which show where the individual farms were in the 1800s.
During the 1800s and even into the early 1900s, there were in many of the American states, maps of the counties or townships which showed who owned the property. It doesn't help when somebody was renting the land because it still showed who owned the lans.
