I am requesting info about the Waldenstroms, Mattsons, Janssons, Fredins. Andrew Waldenstrom was born in Sweden and Married Karin Mattson, Karin was born July 1827 and came to America in 1880 along with her daughter Anna and settled in Duluth Mn. Anna was born in Sweden March 29, 1855 where I do not know. Anna married John Fredrick Fredin in Duluth in 1881. John F. Fredin may have gone by Jon Fredrick Jansson in sweden. He was born in Bangbro Sweden March 07, 1854. It is said in family circles that they were involved in a religion in opposition to the State Church in Sweden (Lutheran). It has also said that Andrew and Karin were teachers in Sweden. I do not know how accurate this information is. I am planning to visit Sweden in the future in the hope I can find my roots and if I still have any relatives left in Sweden. Andrew and Karin Waldenstrom are my ggrandparents. Thank You
