Thank you for your quick answers! Carl Magnus does remain at Stora Åsängen until his death in 1908, although he seems to take on less and less help as the years go by, and in 1900 when Carl Magnus is 78 years old, there is only one piga and his son to take care of the farm. Does that make sense? He is called a landtbrukare - is he still the owner? Also, I have not been able to find a bouppteckning for him. Especially if he owns a farm, shouldn't there be some probate records?
