Hi,
I have a friend Lorna Soderfelt from North Dakota, USA, who is looking for living Gabrielson relatives in Sweden. I hope we are posting this in the proper place. If not, please let us know. Here is Lorna's family that came to America, but we understand there were two sons who stayed in Sweden:
Father: Gustav (Pehr)Gabrielson, birth date on gravestone 1830 Mother: Caroline Onander, birthdate on gravestone 1845 Son: Adolf Gabrielson, born 18 May 1873 Sweden Son: Fredolph Daughter: Anna Daughter: Caroline (Lena), born 1866? or 1872? Daughter: Clara, born 11 June 1882 Sweden Son: Alfred, born 1880 Son: Carl...stayed in Sweden
Note: Adolf and Clara are the only ones that we have birth dates for, taken from their death certificates.
Someone has done some research in Swedish records for us, and we believe this is the family that came to America:
father Nils Gustaf Gabrielsson; born 9 October 1831 in Ryssby, Kronoberg County. wife Caroline; born 31 May 1846 in Lumelunda? son Carl Johan; born 4 May 1872 in Wisby (Visby) son Gustaf Adolf; born 9 May 1873 in Lumelunda son Oscar Fridolf; born 24 June 1876 in Westkinde (Vaskinde) daughter Anna Cathrina Henrietta; born 25 March? 1866 in Lumelunda daughter Hilma Carolina; born 17? April? 1868 in Lumelunda daughter Clara Mathilda; born 11 June 1879 in Vaskinde son Nils Peter Alfred, born 26 July 1881 in Vastkinde
