Joakims upplysning att prins Edwards dotter skulle ha namnet Louise Windsor verkar ju märkligt i perspektiv av drottningens beslut från 1960.
Den aktuella hemsidan, www.royal.gov.uk, ger dock den upplysningen om dottern när man tittar på den information som finns om prins Edward.
Söker man på Mountbatten-Winsdor så hittar man dock sidan www.royal.gov.uk/output/page1731.asp som ger följande information som svar på en fråga: The Earl and Countess of Wessex have decided that their daughter will be called Lady Louise Alice Elizabeth Mary Mountbatten-Windsor. The Earl and Countess decided at the time of their wedding that they did not want their child to be styled as a Prince or Princess. As the daughter of an Earl, the child will be known as Lady Louise. Although her full name is Mountbatten- Windsor, she will only use Windsor.
