Sagas on the Web
A new web site, , was opened formally yesterday at the National Archives.
The web site contains a database of Icelandic Sagas in digital format which makes them available to the public. Photographs of the manuscripts are available which can be enlarged and manoeuvred in different ways.
The Sagnanet houses a complete collection of Sagas, as well as Nordic mythology and stories of saints' and bishops' lives.
