How is your genealogical research going? I believe we´re researching the same family tree. My fathers name was Nils Laudon, your father Hubert's younger brother. Which means you and I are cousins! From what I reckon Laudon was a soldier's name. Have you heard of the name Ernst Gideon von Laudon? Could that be our earliest ancestor? He was born in 1717 and died in 1790. His father was a Swedish officer. I have not yet found Karl Modig's parents. He died on the 19:th of June 1814. Hope to hear from you soon.
