I am from Canada and travelling to Sweden next week with my family ( July 21 to 28). I wish to pass through the area, as I have traced my lineage back to Lars Larsson b1728?in Svanshals died 1805 in Svanshals. He married Bretta Larsdotter Westergrens? b.1740(location unknown) in 1758 and they had 2 children. Jonas b. 1769 and Catharina b.1774 both born in Svanshals. The 2 children moved to Granna in 1800 and their mother moved to Granna after her husbands death. Where might I find a gravestone for Lars in Svanshals? Would anyone have any more information on this family during this time period? Is there a museum in the area where I might find what life was like in this area during that era? Thank you.
