I recently asked a question about my great great grandfather, Pehr Eric Persson. Now I have a question about his wife, Lovisa Jansdotter, born at Asplund in 1824. I have been able to trace many generations of hervancestors, so I don't need help there. I'm wondering why one of my sources lists her as Lovisa Jansdotter Öhman. I contacted the person who manages the tree, but I've waited for a response for nearly four months. I'd thought I'd try here. I found another tree that identifies a number of people as members of Fam. Öhman The first to carry this designation is Mats Eriksson, Valmsta Nordingrå, 1593-1605. He's one of Lovisa's ancestors, although the tree that lists him as Fam. Öhman doesn't include her. (I also contacted the person who manages this tree, but did not receive a reply.)
Can anyone tell me what Fam. Öhman means and how it applies to my great great grandmother?
