Thank you! Every discovery raises more questions. Why would a 26-year-old single mother leave her 3-year-old son in care of her parents when she went to America? Love? She married Per Nystrom from Norra Ny about one year later, but I'm not sure she knew him beforehand. Money? I'm not sure what the economic prospects were for a 26-year-old woman, but I guess they were better in America than in Sweden. Did she travel by herself or with others? Also, it looks like her parents were caring for an idiot brother (Per) when they were 76 and 75. I also cannot read the words written after Erik's name.
