Good Morning, I am the G/Grandson of Johan Albert Andersson b. 14 June 1849 in Hjärtum (Göteborgs och Bohus län, Bohuslän) and married Justina Wahlstrom in 1877 same place, having three issue: Selma b. May 1878, Hedvig b. 25 Jan 1880,(my grandmother) and Olga b.22 Mar 1882, all children born in Göteborg.
Justina and the three children departed Göteborg on the Orlando on 25 Aug 1882 for the United States.
A g/uncle Alex visited in abt 1900 but the old Church had been rebuilt, which is said to have burnt down. Did the church Records survive ? Any photos of the Old church ?
Johan's Father - Anders b.1829 and Mother - Olena Carlsdotter b.1829) married same church.
I am seeking any older family information and history of the Old church. Also would like to acquire knowledge of any existing relatives.
