Sam: Hi! Thanks for your messages. Did the book not note his mothers name? You also note that he (Andreas) had many siblings besides Oskar and Carl. Can you tell me their names? Was (is) there additonal information noted for the father (Adam) especially if he was a sea captain or sailor...how about the siblings of Andreas? One brother also emigrated...it was noted in the obit for Andreas that his brother Oskar also came to America...was Oskar a sailor too? So I suppose that I could find more about the family in the church records-correct? Also-more details about the family members that did not leave Sweden..and their extended families etc. etc.
This may sound like a silly question but I'm going to ask it anyway. What does the PLF stand for? Is it then correct that the information noted came from a Döderhult book (nonexistant means not found in-or gone from the area at the time the book was done)...and a database?
