Ok, I agree with you on Christopher's last name. This seems to imply different fathers as the last names are different.
In familysearch.org, to Christian Bern and Cissa Nilsdotter in Mjallby, there is a Christopher Christensson born on 11 Oct 1795 and a daughter, Bengta Christensson, on 21 Jan 1798 implying they kept the fathers last name, a bit strange but not unheard of. In any case, Johan Kristiansson BERNDT is associated with these two children on Bleckingesf.se. He leaves the service in Apr of 98 between his daughters birth and her death in Nov. And, then he vanishes.
It is reasonable for her to have another child 2 years later in 1800, Nils. Still does not clarify who his father was.
