I'm looking for information about Brita Kristina born 24 May 1869. She is listed in the record I have for 1862-1875 for Böle - Slätte, Kall living with Bengt Jakobsson born 1837 and his wife Anna Svensdotter born 8 January 1847 along with their two daughters Anna Märta born 10 July 1870 and Johanna born 28 April 1872. Bengt and Anna were married in 1870 in Kall and the two youngest girls were born there.
Anna Svensdotter had moved in to Kall from Åre 30 December 1869, but I don't know the parish of her birth. I'm assuming Brita Kristina was Anna's daughter born before Anna's marriage to Bengt and was most likely born in Åre.
Bengt and Anna emigrated to America in 1873 but only their 2 youngest daughters went with them. Brita Kristina did not go with them but moved back to Åre (page 32).
In Nebraska, USA where Bengt and Anna settled Anna went by the last name of Hall.
Is there any way to find who Brita Kristina went to live with back in Åre, who her father was (I'm assuming she may have been born an illegitimate child) and what became of her?
This is a big puzzle to me and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
