Thanks, Bo. Yes, frossa means malaria. I don't know why I wrote cholera. This family sure moved around alot. I never realized they did that back then. My Finnish ancestors seemed to stay in the same parishes for generations. Johanna Catherina's parents were in Hyltinge parish and I've found numerous moves back and forth for Johanna and her daughters to them through the years. I'll look at those other GID's. Karen
