I'm looking at GID 98.27.33600 on the right hand side - Sara Johanna.  Where does it say she was born.  I read it as Hodal, but I can't find that place or where it is.  Also, what are her father's and mother's names?

It says:
Sara Johanna born on the 31 of July, baptised the 4 of August. Parents: Br(think it's brukare = cultivator) Lars Jaensson, maybe Jonsson, and wife Annicka Svensdotter in Älgshult. Godfathers: Sven Johansson, Wife Wendella ?(sorry, I can't read it), Farmhand Nils Berg ibm(ibidem = as previous), and maid Brita Johanna Davidsdotter in Hodal.

Thank you!  Now I see the family on GID 98.16.28000 & on GID 98.14.99800.  What would you say is the last name of the father??  I can't read it well.

I see his birth record in GID 98.26.2800 (Sep 17th).  What is his Dad's first name, and where was he born?

His father's last name was Carlsson and you can find the family at GID: 98.7.41400, page 116.

Don, as always thank you!  I still am wondering what the first name of the father is there?  It's not a name I'm familiar with.

Scott, his first name is Isac, just another way of spelling Isaac, Isaak, Isak and etc.
