Hej,
What does this mean?
Aldersattest Har boet paa Aker?
-
Hi Chris,
This is what I think:
åldersattest= birth certificat
Har boet paa Åkerö= has it's home on Åkerö (a
name of an island)
-
Hi Chris,
I thought I should point out that the writing is in either Danish or Norwegian, not Swedish!
Best regards,
Ann Little

My translation as this is not Swedish could be:
Har boet paa Åkerö = could also mean has lived on Åkerö. We have two different Åkerö in Sweden one outside Nyköping in Södermanland and one north of Stockholm close to Norrtälje on the main land not an island.

Thank-you and my apologies,
I was confused. My gggrandmother was born in Norway, married, lived, and had children in Sweden, then the family lived in (apparently Aker?) Norway for a short while before emigrating to America.
This line came from the emigrant list on the Norwegian Digital Archives at
http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/ so, of course it's probably in Norwegian.
Thank-you again,
