I am trying to determine the parents of Maria Isaksdotter and where she was born. The earliest I can find her is at 906.7.16400 in Ramdal. Can anyone help? I'm not sure of the relationship
of Johan Olsson Karl and Annica Olsdotter to Maria.

I think that I might have solved one of the problem for you. From Göteborg and Bohus län Hogdal parish and the place Ramdal year 1821-39 page 13 genline
Man Nils Helgesson born 6 of July 1787
His wife Anna-Britta Håkansdotter born 5 of May 1784
Children Anders born 16 of September 1817
Helena born 5 of June 1811
This Maria Isaksdotter born 1 of March 1830 is the daughter to Helena.

Ulla: I'm a little confused. I don't see Maria on the page you referenced. My Maria was born on March 16, 1817. I also found her at 906.8.19800 as a servant. I thought she was the same Maria at
906.7.18300. What am I missing?

Maybe this entry will help. At 906.8.21400, Goteborg och Bohus Hogdal, Maria is listed again, her name underlined along with Johannes Patterson. What do the notations in front of their names mean?

I have been loking at the gid number you gave me.
To me it loks like this from page 35 Östra Bjäringen. 1839-1841
Karl-Johan Olofsson born in 11 of March 1807
His wife Anna Olsdotter born 4 of August 1786
And it seems to me that Johannes Pettersson born 14 of August 1823, and Maria Iskasdotter born 16 of March 1817 were stephchildren or fosterchildren in that family.
It seemes that Johannes had moved in 1839 and Maria moved to Anneröd. The priest underlined the name when they moved. You did not miss anything it was me that had som trubble reading.
