Hjalmar was born 27/3 1884 in Silhovda (Blekinge) and died 31/5 1964 in Lunds.(Source: Dodbok 1947-2003) I know he had a daughter Rut Maria Bertsjo who died 28/12 1980. Did Hjalmar have any other children? I am the daughter-in-law of Hjalmar's brother, Peter (Sven) Alfred Johnson. b. 26/7 1890. Pete came to America with his sister Hulda. Pete had 2 sons, Alfred and Stanley. Would appreciate any info on this. Janice Johnson

Hello Janice! Easiest way to find out, if there are no relatives or friends answering to this forum, if Hjalmar had any more children is to order the estate inventory made up after Hjalmars death in 1964. In this inventory all children should be presented. You can easily order it from Landsarkivet i Lund where you just state the individual's full name, the date he died and his adress/parish which in this case according to SvDödbok 1947-2003 is Brunius 8, Lunds domkyrkoförsamling.
