Jennie Jenson is my Great Grandmother.
She was apparently born in Sweden.
The only information I have on her is her name on my grandfathers belated birth certificate issued 1951. He (Arthur Matthews) was born 310 W Quartz Butte Montana 23/10/1905. He also had a younger sister Ellen born February 1907.
His Father William Matthews was born in 1879 in Bathurst N.S.W. Australia. He was a miner and went to the USA around 1900. He arrived back here in Australia around 1913 with Ellen and Arthur. William died in Bulli N.S.W. in 1937. Arthur passed away in June 1982 and his sister Ellen passed over in 1992.
She is also mentioned on my grandfwther marriage certificate as deceased.
I have been looking for information about her for many years now. I've had searches done by a very old boarding school in Helena Montana, the Montana Historical Society and posted messages on Ancestry.com, all with no results. It is as if she never existed! But her children are proof she did exist.
My grandfather told me his father Kidnapped them from their boarding school and brought them back here to Australia on a merchant ship.
Any help would be much appreciated.
