Hello!
I recently purchased a 3 month subscription to SVAR, not realizing that it did not have all the records for some parishes I am interested in. I am looking for information on the birth of:
Nils Henriksson, born 1850 in Färnebo
och
Stina Lisa Gustafsdotter, born 1853 in Rämmen
If someone has time to look this up in Genline, I would be most obliged!

father Hindrik Hindriksson, crofter,
mother Maria Ersdotter Örn.

I can´t interpret place name, then I am stuck looking them up in the clerical survey. Hopefully other helpers can do that for you.
Hindrik is the same as Henrik.
Stina Lisa Gustafsdotter born in Rämen 18 July 1853.
Father Gustaf Pettersson, crofter, mother Maria Lisa Forsberg,. Place: Stjernberget.

I went to the clerical survey for Rämen, GID 520.16.15100, [Närke och Värmland; Värmland] Rämen, AI.10, Husförhör, 1852 - 1857, 278-0, Bild 151 av 185 , Gustaf Pettersson was born in Rämen on 19 October 1820, whereas Maja Lisa Forsberg born on 6 april 1824 in Rämen. These births days must be checked in book of births, because sometimes errors are made in clerical surveys.

Nils was born 1850 Jan. 11 in cottage Kallviken on Långbanshyttan lands in Färnebo parish. Source Filipstad-Färnebo C:11, page unnumbered.
The family is found in Färnebo AI:20a, page 80, under Långbanshyttan:

w. Maria Ersdotter Örn, b. 1821 Jan.12 in Färnebo
s. Erik Johan, b. 1843 Dec.3 in Gåsborn
s. Gustaf, born 1847 Apr.14 (parish not mentioned)
s. Nils, born 1850 Jan.11 in Färnebo
Maria's mother and brother are found on the same page:
Widow Kerstin Olsdotter Örn, b. 1787 in Gustav Adolf parish
s. Johan Eriksson Örn, b. 1830 Sep.29 in Färnebo
There is a note that Kerstin is lame, and goes to communion in Gåsborn.

Now I have found all my great-great-great-grandparents on my Swedish side!
Given that Maria's brother is Johan Eriksson Örn, I suppose it would not be too much of a guess to conclude that her father was Erik Örn?
I like the SVAR database, and they seem to be adding many more scanned documents each month, but it looks like they have a ways to go until they catch up to Genline.
