In the 1890 census, widow Kristina Eleonora Vernqvist (born 21 Feb 1828 in Gävle) is living at Kumlet N:o 4, 5, 6 , Ladugårdsland, Hedvig Eleonora rote 11. She does not appear in the 1900 census. I have checked the HFL at Genline & Svar but these years are not available. Are there any other sources to trace her movements, and presumable death, between 1890-1900?
Any help welcome
Al Neilson

Rote 11 is not yet scanned by Stockholms stadsarkiv -- but book of deaths for Hedvig Eleonora is scanned and online at a subscription site www.svar.ra.se
Unfortunately I have not time enough to browse those books.

Hi Al
I´ve found her at rotemansarkivet
http://www3.ssa.stockholm.se/Rotemansarkivet/Search.aspx
and the last notice is this.

That is not pertinent because it earlier than 1890.

Al, I don't know what you know or want to know, but it is interesting to look at Raoul's picture with the hand written Mantalsbok. The person under Kristina Eleonora Vernqvist/Wernquist is mentioned as her daughter, Emelia Alfrida Holmberg, born July 25, 1865 in Kvillinge (Qvillinge).
-
And I guess you know that Christina Eleonora Berggren was married to Johan Alfred Holmberg, born 1840 in Qvillinge (Source Kvillinge CI:7, födelse och dopbok 1861-1880, page 81 and Sv Befolkning 1890)
-
Thanks to all for your help.
Kristina Eleonora Berggren, left Johan Alfred Holmberg and her baby daughter, Emilia Alfrida Holmberg (born 25 July 1865 in Kvillinge) and moved to Stockholm in 1865. She must have married Gustaf Bror Persson Waernqvist ?? some time later as they had a child, Gustaf Birger Engelbrecht (born 19 Nov 1870 in Kungsholmen, Stockholm).
Kind regards,
Al from Wirral

Hello to all,

Carl Olaf Wallin (born 29 Sep 1818 in Lunda) moves from his parents in Stigtomta to Nyköpings Östra in November 1832
He appears in the Moving in register for Nyköpings Östra: GID: 2143.41.105900 (Nyköpings Östra B:1, Moving in, 1829-1853) page 15 (right hand) entry number 102, 24 November 1832 – but I cannot read where he moved to? It looks like Kull???

Hello Al!
The word is 'Kullman', but it's not a place name. In this case it is the name of the house owner.
I don't use Genline so I can't give you any GID-numbers, but you will find him in the second part of AI:11a on page 20. The volume is in two parts, each with its own pagination. Volume AI:11b is a register to AI:11a where you can find mr Kullman.
However, Carl Olof only stayed here for two years, then he moved to Stockholm. Moving out register: B:1 7 November 1834 entry 144. (the pagination is backwards and upside-down).

Hi again,
In GID: 49.19.4600 (Kila: AI:10 (1836-1840) page 53) where did Stina Pehrsdotter (born 13 Dec 1806 in Kila) and her daughter move to in 1840? It looks like Los ?????
Any help much appreciated,
Al
-
Hi again, Al!
First, her name in the book is Anna Pehrsdotter, not Stina. But I hope it is the right person anyway.
They move to löslistan or lösdrivarlistan, i.e. the list of homeless people. That list is in the end of the book, but in this case it refers to the list in the next book, AI:11 (1841-1845). Here you will find them on top of page 318. From here they move around quite often, but the pages are given all the time until they 1845 move to page 25.
She also had a son, Anders Peter ????, born 5 April 1841, dead 21 July 1841.
Regards Stefan

Hi Stefan,
Thank you for the help - Anna was the correct name and I have now traced her movements to her death in 1873.
