Hi Eivor,
Takenetorp Karin, fad Jon Andersson, mod Ingrid Christoffersdotter. Fadd Måns Ericsson ibid, Jon Christoffers ibid, h Kjersti Larsdotter (?)ibm, h Ingeborg Christoffersdr ibm.
Fad = father, Mod = mother, Fadd = faddrar = godparents, ibid or ibm = latin ibidem = from here, h = hustru = wife = Mrs (married woman).
Easier to read from AD Online.
Best regards,
Gunilla

Thank you what is Ad online?

Hi Eivor,
AD stand for ArkivDigital - digital photos. And AD Online means that you can subscribe to them. It's a relatively new company, they photograph the church books in colour, very good pictures. Did you see the example on my reply to your question regarding Understanding the census? Their pictures are anyhow very much better then Genline's, although Genline is quicker changing pages. I have both, and have lately gone over more and more to AD Online, because of the better quality.
So far AD Online does not cover the whole of Sweden, only the southern half, including Värmland. They plan to have all church books photographed by the end of next year, however. They have a web site, www.arkivdigital.se, but it's only in Swedish. But you can of course send them an e-mail at info@arkivdigital.se, if you have any questions.
You can subscribe, it cost SEK 1.195 per year, approx 150 USD.
Best regards,
Gunilla
