my grandparents and great grandparents emigrated to the usa from sweden in the middle 1800's. their names were klang and boman respectively. the klangs came from sodermanland. boman left sweden at 13 yrs as a seaman. he later became a sea captain. both families homesteaded land in blain county, washington where my mother and father married. my father had relatives named pearson and brink. my mother had relatives named lind. both klang and boman left siblings in sweden.i should have relatives in sweden and a genealogical history there. i believe that klang was an army name. boman finally owned his own ship and lived in south american for about 20 years.
