I am looking for information on my great-grandmother. I am at a standstill. Her name was Gerda Anna Bjork(b.04/08/1885). She came to the U.S. with a sister possibly named Edith.?She married Peter Madsen from Denmark in New York or Chicago about 1904. They had 3-4 children. I would love to get some help.

There is one Gerda Björk who left from Oskarshamn (on the Swedish east coast) to New York 1902 25/4.  It says that she was 18 years then but maybe one year did´t make any difference. But I did not find any suitable Edith. You have to check birth records for Oskarshamn.

This information is from a CD with all 1.3 million swedish emigrants between 1869 and the end 1920´s.
