Otto Haindl of German descent emigrated to Sweden 1891. In Stockholm he met Emma Kristina Johansdotter who gave birth to twins 30 July 1892, Anna Emma and Edward Otto. In October 1895 they got married just befor Otto went to America. In December Emma followed with the children. What happend to them? My great grandmother used to say they all perrish in the earthquake in San Francisco 1906.
I would very much appriciate if someone could do census lookups on this family. Were there more children born in America? Where did the family move to after arriving in New York? Did they go to Orleans where Emma Haindl is living with Martha Haddick (another daughter?) 1930? Is 18 year old Ann Haindl dead 1911 in Orleans the twin sister Anna Emma?
Thanks
Christina

Fick mycket information.
Thanks for answering James! I've looked at Ellis Island and read the destination as St. Louis. A second daughter born in Missouri makes it likely. What do you mean by saying the papers are incorrect?

And from Graham's (the father) WW1 card it is possible to see that he worked as Stenographer (do you want a copy, let me know and I can mail it)
In Census 1900 is it possible to see that Graham lived in Florida, Putnam County, Palatka City. Hes father was Engineer Locomotive and Graham had an older brother, Dudley.
And if you continue to search you will find Graham Guilford IV Haddock, now living. (oopps,)
I also found an interesting text about Martha's son. Read and enjoy
Haddock worked as a draftsman for Higgins Industries of Louisiana in the late 1930s when the company was asked to design a special boat. Fooling around with a cigar box in his home workshop, he came up with a design. His colleagues thought it was too complicated, but Mr. Higgins liked the idea so much he used it to produce more than 12,000 of them: the box-like boats with a mechanical ramp used by Allied troops for the 1944 invasion of Normandy. Allied supreme commander Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower later called the landing craft key to winning World War II. Haddock stayed with the company through mergers and buyouts until his retirement in 1982. He died February 6 from cancer at age 84.

Uff Da!
Too bad I'm not related to N.O. Higgins or this would be a really great tale!
In regards to page #'s when I pulled those pages I couldn't find the families names, I didn't advance to see where they were at.
