Hej,

In Skede AI:5 (1821-1826) on page 66, at the top of the page, under Omständigheter (explaining the circumstances for Johannes Bergstrand and his family moving), there is a single word or abbreviation I can't understand. Can anyone read that? Thanks so much! -John

John
Find it difficult to hear and difficult pronunciation.
Nothing about moving.

Thanks Gerd. I wonder if it's an abbreviation for a local place name. Can you make out the basic characters? Thanks!

John, it just says skrif, which has nothing to do with where they moved. It just means write. It might have been that the clergyman was going to write where they should be recorded next, but forgot to complete the sentence.

Interesting, and explains why I couldn't understand the entry. Thank you both for your kind assistance.
