Enligt flera uppgifter (litt. och nätet) finns antydnigar om att ätten Urup skulle härstamma från Knudt den heliges dotter Cecilae. Finns detta dokumenterat? Hur ser släktskapet ut? Någon som vet??

I do not know precisely, BUT:

there exists a claim that Cecilie's daughter's son was the famed lord Esbern Snare, castellan of Kalundborg.

(the strength of that detail is unknown to me, it just may be a myth used by later sycophants and/or genealogists to furnish Esbern's high-noble descendants with a royal ancestry, but it however might be true and it's probably not beyond the realm of possible. I hope for better and more critical Danish research publications, to have answers also to this question.)

If Esbern (who died c 1204) indeed were Cecilie's grandson, then a number of Danish late-medieval nobility descends so (no wonder if the Urup), and soon in the first modern centuries, almost all higher Danish nobility and a good portion of Swedish too. It just was the nature of things that a blood penetrated throughout high nobility within two centurues, if some blood initiated sustainably to that circle at first place.
