Attached is an image from a court record from the 1799 Färs Judgement Book.
Here is my guess at what it says in Swedish
Av som thet af ortens kronobetjänt
med nämnd ? ? allmoge
fulltyga, at, Gertrud eike forn
i hors av lägersmål sak varat lagförd;
I cannot make out the words on the second line after nämnd. Is it someone's name?
Can anyone confirm that this is correct and fill in the missing part?
Can anyone translate this to English too? I believe it has to do with the court officer announcing the fine she must pay.

All letters don't look as they should - but they seldom do. :)
And with modern spelling - but not only modern words :) :

Thank you so much for correcting my translation and converting to modern Swedish. I can see now that it says that the officer is certifying that Gertrud had never been charged with this crime before.

I hope you don't mind me asking another question. Attached is an image taken from the Brandstad church records of 1800. This is a year later after Gertrud has been fined. I can see the first part says that the fine is being written off because she has no money to pay it.
My question is about the second part. Does it say that she has to work off the fine? If so would that mean at a prison?
This is my translation
Afskrifves pignorna Bengta Pehrsotters i Klamby och Jertud från Timmerhus balanarade lägermåls Böter, som i Brist af tillgång icke kunna utgå ej eller i anse ende till desfas swaga till stånd med arbete aftjenas i 32

She couldn't even work it off, her health was too bad.

Thank you for helping out. So she was unable to pay and unable to work so the fine was dropped.
