I am looking at a household record which has Emmy Karolina Lundqvist Sjoholm, 19 Oct 1896, listed. She is the daughter of Beda Karolina Lundqvist but I don’t believe that her father was Irenes Viktor Sjoholm (both listed on lines 1 and 2). There is a notation to the right of Emmy’s name which I cannot read. Does this give a clue as to the father? Apparently she was born in a home for unwed mothers in Stockholm.

The words above Emmy Karolina's name say that she was "the wife's out of wedlock". At the time of the birth her mother is found in Nacka (AB) AIIa:1 (1896-1900) Bild 1680 / sid 157 (AID: v88831.b1680.s157, NAD: SE/SSA/1542) and her birth record is in Södra barnbördshusets kyrkoarkiv (A, AB) CI:9 (1895-1897) Bild 2920 / sid 286 (AID: v91300.b2920.s286, NAD: SE/SSA/6037). It was not for just unwed mothers. The notes to the right say that she got her parents permission to emigrate and above that, that she got a Vaccination certificate from doctor Danielsson in Sundsvall the 3/10 1912. No clues to her fathers name.

Leif,
I hope you get this. So I went to the household record in Nacka, and it has the next move for Beda two pages over (sid 159)
which has a reference to Viktor Irenus Sjoholm. Does this record mean that he is the father? Carol
