I am trying to track Erik Hjalmar Karlsson (31 Jan 1889). I found him [/size]at [/size]https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/00081158_00197[/size] but cannot understand what parish he goes to next. I thought it[/size] [/size]might be Väne-Åsaka as it was the closest I could come to interpreting it. However, I find no moving in records for him there. I did find a moving out record for Björkäng [/size]https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/00081181_00059 (https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/00081181_00059)[/size] . However, this has brought me no closer. It also looks like he is a lineman for the railroad. [/size]Can someone please tell me what this says?

You should look for him in Vartofta-Åsaka and he returns from there in 38 according to Björkäng (R) AIIa:11 (1932-1939) Bild 2730 / sid 254 (AID: v205832.b2730.s254, NAD: SE/GLA/13034). However, you won't really find him in Vartofta-Åsaka as that volume is still under secretess.

Do you know when these records will be available? Our 1950 census records are supposed to be available in April.

According to NAD the next volume cover 1924 to 1949, thus it is no longer restricted. Guess that it don't show up on AD or RA is due to someone has to actually scan it. But you can see in Vartofta-Åsaka (P, R) BI:4 (1895-1937) Bild 67 / sid 60 (AID: v83589.b67.s60, NAD: SE/GLA/13616) that he was "banvakt" and moved in to Vartofta Backgård with wife and two children, probably the same as you find in Björkäng 1938. On ArkivDigital you can see that he in 1940 lived in Norrbro 2 in Töreboda with wife and son but his daughter had moved out. In 1950 he had moved to Kilen 1:111, Friggagatan 7 in Töreboda and now also his son had moved out. He still lived in Töreboda in 1960 but I don't find him in 1970, thus he had probably died, but I can't tell for sure. But as his wife was widowed 1962-02-05 that is probably his date of death.
