Below is the link to the birth record of Anders, as I understand born on 08 February 1794 in Kyrkobyn, Grangärde parish. Parents as I interpret the record are Lars Larson and Anna Ericksdotter. I am trying to find a household record of this family, looking in the Grangärde parish in Kyrkobyn, but cannot see anything. Any assistance would be most appreciated.
Thank you,
Greg Rosenvall

Hello Greg
I found your Anders born in Grangärde 2 of February 1794 in book C= records of birth C:5 year 1773 to 1794 picture 235.
Anders and his family in the book A= housholdsexaminationroll Grangärde book A1;11a year-1806 to 1815 p 9. Anders moved 1811 to a parish called Ryttene. In the bottom of the left page
Grangärde has many books in serie A so it is not so easy to find.
Happy new year from Ulla

The family is recorded in "Gerdet", which is probably close to "Kykbyn" (the church village), since it is close in the books[1]. In 1799 the whole family moved to Dingtuna parish[2].

... and in 1806 they moved back to Grangärde.
They lived at Stentorpet, a croft under Seppersta farm (now spelled Sippersta (https://minkarta.lantmateriet.se/?e=579316.0154871532&n=6599791.230324926&z=9&profile=karta&background=1&boundaries=false))[1,2]. Before they move back, they are noted as "utfattige" -- very, very poor.

Lars Larsson, Anders' father, died 1806-10-01 in Bergsbo, Grangärde[1] -- it does not appear that the family was ever noted in the books there. Later, the widow and her children are living in Rosshaga[2], before moving on to Kyrkbyn, sometime before 1809-05-25 (when Anna Ersdotter is noted as present at a household examination)[3]. In Rosshaga is also noted a son Petter, b 1806-10, but I've found no other evidence of his existence -- the note is possibly a mistake ...

Thank you Ulla and Staffan. I cannot express how much I appreciate this forum and your help as I research my ancestors in Sweden. It is a tremendous help to me. I'm learning a lot. I signed up with ArkivDigital and the subscription came with a book "Explore your Swedish Heritage" which is also very helpful. Just want you and everyone else involved with this forum to know how much your assistance is appreciated. I will go through all your feedback and links.
Happy New Year to everyone,
Greg
