You can also go to a search page - type in "google translator" and mark one side "Swedish" and the other side "English". Then copy and paste whatever you want translated.

Yes, but it doesn't always work with archaic swedish. Also, old handwriting can sometimes be very hard to read if you aren't fluid in the language.

It doesn't always work with modern Swedish either... You can very often see that "this must be a Google translation".  :)
