Can anyone help me with my translation for a couple lines from an old court case? My translation leaves me wondering how these people are related and who is the defendant.
drängen Niels Persson i Gashult, enkian Swenborg Swensdotter i Fathult och soldaten Per Kiellberg, sampt Niels Larson i Gashult med påstående at få sin andehl af kiöpeskillingen uti bemte skattejord, swaranden påvysar sin faderbroder visiteuren i Ystad Niels Jönssons kiöpebref på hehla fierdingen dat Ystad Michaelis dag 1698.
My translation: The farmhand Niels Persson in Gashult, widow Swenborg Swensdotter in Fathult and soldier Per Kiellberg, and Niels Larsson make a claim to get their share from a sale of property. Their father's brother has a letter about the sale from 1698....
I already know that Niels Larsson's father is Lars Jönsson, so it would make sense that Niels Jönsson is his father's brother.
1) Who is the defendant in this case? Is it Niels Jönsson, the uncle?
2) Are the widow Swenborg and soldier Per Kiellberg being grouped together, possibly a widow and her son where Swenborg was married to another (yet unnamed) brother and Per is their son?
3) Are Niels Persson, Niels Larsson and the soldier cousins?

My rough translation: It was finally agreed upon that the 22 dalar would be divided 3 ways: 1/3 (7 dalar, 10) to each of these 3:
1. the children of the deceased Lars Jönsson which would include Niels Larsson.
2. the son of the deceased Per Jönsson who is dr Niels Persson (so there is another brother of the father , his name is Per).
3. the widow Swenborg Swensdotter who was married to another of the father's brothers and maybe the father of the soldier Per Kiellberg.

I should have added that, I am not asking anyone to verify this information, I'm asking whether my understanding of what it is saying fits or whether I am way off in my interpretation of what this tells me. :)

Wow, I just found something that answers a lot of my questions on this family, when looking for the 1698 court case referenced in the one below. ;D Now I know that name of the "other brother" and also a sister.
